unless its for indoor use ide just buy white and cover in orange vinyl. no matter what you use, if a foam board its UV life is short. forget what suppliers tell you..

Thanks Guys.. I do have a colour swatch which has 13 colours of foamalux but cannot remember where i got it,
Most of it will be covered in vinyl leaving an outline of orange, but the edges need to be orange as well, was thinking of orange perspex but i'm after a satin /matt finish and its quite a bit more expensive
Foamalux should last out doors for at least 5 years hopefully??

Thanks all

sorry... but no chance of 5 years mate! months maybe! trust me.. we had a supplier give it to us in writting that red foamalux would last 5 years.
5 months later a big contract we did all over UK started fading. they were looking at a minimum of £40 grand compinsation for the depots we had covered so far.
the company went bust!!! name was VT Plastics.. it was taken over by VINK... again, we aproached Vink for the compensation. they sent us 40 sheets of red perspex & promised to settle the rest in cash. guess what? VINK went bust a few months later aslo!

i learned the hard way... foam boards just dont last time if an sort of warm colour.

or you can even flood coat with vinyl and return the edges to the rear face if you have a good cut on the edge>

Just in case anyone needs it, we had some orange foamalux from A&P Display in October for a job that we used to use orange correx.

We could only get orange correx as a bulk buy, too much for what we needed so if anyone has any contacts for orange correx available in small quantities, please let me know.

Thanks
Rebecca

Rebecca, Cherwells have orange Correx in their price list. Whether they ever have it in stock is another matter, but you could try them. 01280 840297

By the way Rebecca, someone I know works at your place, but I can't remember who it is.......... Yeah, anyway....
