We use "sott right-off" from sd+ in Ireland. About £40 for 5l from memory. Works great

Tardis tar & glue remover from Autosmart for us.

Buy 25l drum of the stuff, and decant into a spray bottle

Also use G101 from them too, as a general purpose panel wipe

I’ve had good results from concept tar and glue remover, big brand in Bodyshop supply shops, however just the other week we were given a sample of autosmarts prep tone and it’s brilliant !

Not come across preptone, is it a T&G remover or general purpose panel wipe?

Used some G101 on a car, and it didn't stick to well, think I may have made it a bit strong, wiped over the other panels with IPA and all was good.

Come on Richard I'm curious. We have colour coded triggers, and made a nice hanger for them. I'll share a pic tomorrow when I get in

The first one is a product called tango and good for trims after we have wrapped a van, the clear is prep tone, the orange is surface cleaner from spandex, the yellow is G101 and the last blue one is easy apply for when we apply ppf foils or wet application of etch etc

Be very careful with preptone on plastics, it can melt them!

And if a vehicle has been repainted in can be strong enough to soften some aftermarket paints.
