Pane
i always just used a good magnifying glass which had an internal led, once you magnify it you can see it with no issues

I just use the torch on my phone these days but I used to have one with blue LED’s which was so much better.

Here's one that i use, the blue light makes the yellow a lot viable.

If you have any coloured film or cellophane, you can hold it over the test print to see the yellow channel more clearly. I've used the blue lens out of a disposable pair of 3D glasses before.

Thanks Stafford! That's exactly what I look for, but cannot locate them on the net.

Thank you all for your input - will try your suggestions.

I bought this one, which is extremely bright.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1

but maybe this would be OK.

You would need to buy rechargable batteries and the charger as well.

I fitted a bright LED strip the full length inside the printer above the platen which was easy, cheap and works well.
