Looking for prepsol panel cleaner

Hi

I am having trouble finding a source of Prepsol, or identifying its UK equivalent.
Prepsol is a clear oil-based liquid cleaner that is used extensively by spraypainters in NZ and Australia for cleaning off wax and grease. It is usually followed up with Isopropyl alcohol.
It is not very volatile and also not very strong smelling, but it does a really good job and isnt harsh on paint, rubber, vinyl or plastic.
I get it in 22 litre containers in NZ and it is quite cheap, the equivalent of 40 pounds.
Can anyone help?

Thanks
Simon.

Hi
think preptone is based on acetone and will melt acrylic etc, Simon guy on Fleabay but most car paint manufacturers probably do an equivalent as Prepsol is Duponts brand name for it i believe

Re: Looking for prepsol panel cleaner

Cheers Kevin...that looks like some version of the stuff, although the packaging is completely different.
But Jeez look at the price! £38 pounds for 5 litres!

I looked into Preptone, Graeme, on this site:
http://www.ecolink.com/products/prodpages/preptone/
It does appear to smell of acetone, which probably means it is a bit too aggressive.

What do signies use for cleaning wax off new cars in the UK?
I hear French Perfume is quite a good alternative!
