Thanks Phill!

Can you please recommend any other Orajet vinyl, banner, canvas etc materials, materials you know well and rely on for years?

Any experience with lower grade vinyl than 3651?

Cheers!

Re: Oracal / Orajet Recommendation Please!

Hi
I used 3164 for years and still have prints out there now some doing 7+ years, yes it shrinks because its a monomeric vinyl but i used it with LG laminate and would vouch for it. If you are doing flat panels then wrap around the edges if its a budget van let it shrink then clean the mark with a little spirit or just tell the customer to clean it, dont push it into creases etc fold or cut it in

+1 for 3164 great vinyl with fantastic prints. It's the cheapest vinyl I keep in stock and never had a complaint with it.

Thanks Phill and Robert.

Looks like I've found my Metamark MD3 equivalent with the 3146 orajet. I will not use it on vehicles. I'm planing to use it for print and cut stickers and short term flat areas outside & indoor stuff.

Cheers

Re: Oracal / Orajet Recommendation Please!

Just a quick note about the 3164.
I struggle to print it with my VS540i using eco-sol max 2 ink. In standard quality I get awful pin pricks in the print.
High quality is great but obviously a lot more time consuming.
May be worth getting a sample to make sure your printer likes it?
