Attaching hooks to dibond for swinging signs

Hi

I have been asked to produce 2 400mm x 500mm signs on dibond to hang outside a community hall from existing hooks. They are only used when council meetings are on so need to be removable. I can do the dibond bit but not sure of the best way to attached some kind of hook system to the long edge so they hand down? Any tips appreciated!

Thanks

Nick

How to hang a hanging sign?

I have the same issue. The last sign that was in place by someone else used Caribinas the kind that you use for mountain climbing. This hooked into an acrylic sheet. The Caribina failed in the recent storms and he wants another swinging sign. I was going to use aluminium composite, but though it could really do with an eyelet or something, to give it strength.

Then the other question is what would I use as a chain, and where would I get them from?
Perhaps I should get it framed as I could then get it with holes built into the frame, which would then mean I wouldn't need to put holes into the ACM.
What suplier should I use for that?

Thank you.

I couldn't think of what to search for in Google.

Since then I found some D-Shackles at:

I will look into your suggestion too now.
