Light box and 3d lettering fitting question

Hi everyone.
We have a customer how wants a light box with 3d channel lettering attached.

He would like the 3d lettering lighting up also.

My question is how do we attach the 3d lettering to the box? Will the light box be enough to also light the letters or will we need to add LEDs too?

Thanks in advance.

That's make no physical sense. Each illuminated part would contradict the other. Does really depend how you were building it but seems odd.

Seen plenty of light boxes with 3d lettering that also lights up.

Perhaps you didn't understand my question. :D

Illuminated sign

Its not really a problem but yes you would need two different sources of light tubes or leds inside light box and the neon/Leds inside the letters I assume the 3 d letters are going to be face lit, it might be possible depending on the design to use the light from the light box to illuminate the letters but I would need to see the design to comment

attaching

Sorry forgot to answer the other part normally the letters would be attached to the lightbox by brass locators as supplied by F KMoore

Denise, how big are the channel letters, how deep are the returns & what material will they be made of?

What is the lightbox to be constructed from as well?

Will all play a part in how you go about lighting it plus mounting the letters.
