Hi Roche'

I'm from Durban but have now been living here in England for 5 years and won't be coming back to SA as we have made this our home and hence the Union Jack under my name

Hope the chaos of the world cup is not too bad.

Cheers

Warren

Welcome to the boards mate... good to have you here and thanks for taking the time to load your picture.

there is actually quiet allot of folk registered on here from SA.
one of the most popular is Rodney Gold who is a wealth of knowledge in his field. Rodney isn't around as much but i often see him logged in and only posts occasionally now.

Hi Roche welcome to the forum. What part of SA are you from?
Gert is from up North in SWA, Windhoek I think.
I lived in Cape Town for 13 years so you could call me a token SA citizen. :lol1:

Hi, Roche (Duppie ??)

Maybe I should say where I'm from before I travel all over Southern Africa without the missus knowing.

I live in Walvis Bay, but my business is in Swakopmund.

I think you will find this site very useful. I log on almost dayly just to see whats cooking. Just dont expect the pommies to know what you are talking about if you go on about chromadek signs....

Mike, you almost brought tears to my eyes. Suidwes Afrika still sounds better than Namibia !!

Blimey the Alzheimer's is setting in. Still remember printing Tshirts for the army when SWAPO were stirring up trouble. We printed the most politically incorrect shirts you could find. ie. The only good SWAPO is a DEAD SWAPO!
(For those that don't know SWAPO stands for SOUTH WEST AFRICAN PEOPLES ORGANISATION)

They still stir up trouble. ......

Only now it is not landmines or bombs at service stations. Now they call it TAX and Affirmative Action.........

BTW, "Political Correctness" is mass hysteria by politically uninformed liberals. I love a good dose of calling a spade a *****ng shovel !!
