what material can I use for table top protection ?

A customer has asked if there is anything they can put on the top of their outdoor restaurant tables, which are made of stainless steel, to make them less shiny as they reflect the sun into peoples eyes.
I suppose any vinyl could do the job but is there anything which is tougher, which will stand up to constant use without going down a paint protection film route?

Hi there
A couple of things spring to mind.........
a matt overlaminate......possibly a floor graphic as its quite thick and textured.......or the product that bar mats are made out of, not towel but the compressed foam.I know I've seen people printing them but can't think for the life of me where or what the product was. I guess the toolbar might help

Thanks Gill
The floor overlaminate is a good idea. Thought there was something I was not thinking of.

try CTN exhibitions, they import a very thick vinyl called stradater or something like that, you can even sand the edges once applied

Might be worth checking to see if Health & Hygiene people have any recommended coverings just to be on the safe side although I think they are more concerned about the kitchens.
