is there a machine that will suck away perspex shavings?

I am currently operating an AXYZ 4008 Series routing/cnc machine. I am having problems trying to find a good extraction system for it. I have went through numerous vacuums, the brushes etc always burning out. Can anyone suggest a good industrial strenght machine to suck away the perspex shavings and dust???

Loads are available Jase.

I know this as my father has a wood lathe and I can remember when he was looking at extractors. Wall mounrted / movable etc etc etc.....
Try someone like Axminster power tools.
or Get a copy of Exchange & Mart there are ads in there.

Hope this was of some help. :)

We use WAP and Karcher vacuums , all day long without problems. we also have it switched to a relay on our machine so it only operates when the machine is actually engraving. We used to use one to suck up benziene from our smaller engraving tables (used to soften the double sided tape) till after a few years of doing this , it blew up one day and nearly set the place alight

I also run an axyz router (a millenium) and use a twin motor RECORD DX 4000 extractor unit which comes with a 5 year warranty. I got mine locally for about £250. Works fine for me on mostly wood dust extraction cheers doug edwards
