Problems with using live paint groups for my design in CS2

Hi,

I'm currently designing some logos for a bar which consists of an image of a tribal mask. I've drawn the whole thing using the pen tool then made the whole image into live paint areas which has worked fine until I've started tweaking a few areas.

The problem is when I move certain anchor points, that particular area looses it's live paint assigned colour and adopts the colour of another area.

I was pretty sure that all my lines were completed to form closed areas within the image, can anyone help with what might be the problem???!

THanks!

Sarah,

Haven't used the live paint too much - but does sound that perhaps the lines are not closed after all - if you change the gap limit (under live paint/gap options) does this change things?

Can't think of anything else.

Thanks Martin,

I thought that might be the case but wanted to check incase there were other reasons I didn't know about.

I'll give the gap options a go and hopefully it'll solve it.

Cheers for the help!

Sarah
