Hi Billy, I'm pretty sure you'll have no problem.
We use OSX Lion with Flexisign with no issues with our Graphtecs.

Hot air gun and then adhesive remover. We sometimes use proprietry brands or Avery surface cleaner. You can use Cellulose thinners but be careful and test in an inconspicuose area but really only suitable on a factory finishes. Probably get slated for this but it works for us. It came as a package though so not sure of the price offhand but I found it easy to get to grips with.

The lettering was fitted over the matt ovals and gives it a textured kind of reptilian feel. Luckily had the door colors in stock but I can buy by the meter from Spandex as they love me!! Meil from sunny Cyprus at the moment and very much enjoying Welsh rugby's new found status in world rugby. :cool:

They exceeded all expectations in the World Cup so all in all it bodes well for the future of Welsh Rugby.

We use a lot of 5700, it compares very well with Metamark 7 series (basically the same vinyl I believe)
I rate it highly, great to apply, very forgiving and their Digital range prints well with ecosol ink as Chris says.
Cuts and weeds nicely too.

Yep very strange!!
I replaced a 440ml cart on my Mutoh yesterday (yellow) and noticed there was ink left even though machine said empty.
Not noticed before.
I don't know how much is in there but I'm going to check all my spent carts now and see if they're not empty.

From what I've read CS3 runs but has a few issues.
CS4 is OK.

Hi Jason, I've upgraded both iMac and MacBook and I'm liking Lion. Illustrator CS2 doesn't work anymore as its PowerPC based and as you said Apple have discontinued Rosetta in Lion. FlexiSign 8.5 works fine and I'd say both macs run a little faster too. I like the new additions, Launchpad and Missio...

I cull fonts every once in a while.
Don't like too many running in Flexi.
Certainly wouldn't have thousands, I just disable fonts and turn them back on if and when I need them.

Hi Brian, you can persuade them not to go down the vinyl route by saying these boards have a prestige about them. They look awful and so impersonal in vinyl. I've just spent a few days in Barcelona, what a vibrant city. Architecturally the buildings are amazing especially those designed by Gaudi. I spotted some lovely signwork and there is a fair bit of gold leaf being used. The graffiti wasn't bad either!

You wouldn't need a different vinyl for the clear.

Bare in mind with the window tint that it is applied inside the window.

Also, anything in the sweep of the driver side wiper is an MoT failure.

There are various ways to age a sign, have you seen or used crackle glaze?

You can also paint the sign then rub the lettering with a fine sand paper to create a weathered effect.

When I get some more time later I'll try and get you some more info.

It can be done tho.

Yes, i have a Summa 1200 wide plotter. I haven't printed over 1300mm wide yet. It took me a little while to work out how to alter the default width! If you open the Print Environments tab then to set up a specific media size check the option 'Use as default for this Print Environment' and select or add the default media size you want to use for the printer.
