I went and bought half a litre of meguiars bug and tar remover. Spray it on, leave for 5 mins then wash off with soapy water. The tar spots simply disintegrate. I think this would be more than adequate for vehicle wrap preparation. White Spirit will remove / dissolve tar spots. Much cheaper than Me...

I Agree with the comments so far that the sides are better as they are than your new ideas. I like the back as it is too.

If anything why not try and redesign or revamp your logo. I guess the 'C' is very dominant and the 'G' is a little lost behind it.

On the whole I think your van looks fine.

As long as the ply is painted correctly you'll have no problem with vinyl sticking. 4 or 5 coats, rub down between each and use a 4" roller. 1 primer, 2 undercoats, 1 or 2 coats of gloss finish. Use good quality paints. When I paint ply I allow at least 2 weeks to get them painted. You could cu...

Martin, yes older macs had a fax/print facility but I never used, I looked on the G5 Imac and although it has Print/Fax in System Preferences when opened I can't find any fax capabilities. Seeing as it's brushed adhesion should be no problem but you will have to thoroughly degrease the steel before applying the paint. And, apply the paint as soon as you can after degreasing.

1 Shot should be fine and as it's stainless you shouldn't have any need for an anti corrosive primer.

Ditto Alans advice, but if you use a mask make sure you remove before the lettering dries or you run the risk of pulling the paint off. Ensure the window is spotlessly clean. If it's long term you will have to varnish the lettering and overlap the edge by about 1/8" to protect it. Use yacht var...

As you get more experience with brush lettering Patrick your eye becomes more attune to spacing. As you are probably aware, the trick is to obtain a sense of equal space between each letter. Mr Muscle oven cleaner may remove the paint but 'TEST ON AN INCONSPICUOUS AREA FIRST'.
You could also try some Farecla G3 paste to remove and then Tcut the area.

Ultimately though it's a bit trial and error.

Great looking signs Jill, they have a quality that you just couldn't achieve with vinyl lettering.

They have a lot of character and an appeal that only comes from using a brush.

Love the tight lettering and the signs simplicity.

Is the name SUPER B or SUPERB, if the latter then I would have kerned the letters and closed the gap down between the 'R' and 'B' and welded them together.
