has anyone ever done a PC600 Print Head Change?

Hi to all you PC600 users.
Has anyone changed the print head themselves and if so any special tools or cables required.
Was it fairly easy and any tips please.
I changed the head twice on my old pnc5000 with no problems so hope the pc600 will be ok

Hi,
I have versions 7,8,9,10,11 and 12 and still use version 7 for most work and cut direct to my Roland PC600 with no problems.
There are improvements/add ons in all versions but for basic vinyl printing and cutting there is little to choose.
Superb software !!!

pnc5000

Hi Gaz, Just seen your question on the PNC5000 and all those "rude" replies. :( I've had one for 6 years now, used most days for printing and cutting, superb machine not had any problems with it apart from changing the printhead. I've just bought a secondhand PC600 because I wanted a wider machine b...

PNC5000

Hi, I have had a pnc5000 for many years and it has given me excellent results with no problems. It has had 3 new print heads which I changed myself and once the print head is set up correctly it will give good results as long as you accept it is only 300dpi resolution. I have just purchased a pc600 ...

can anyone help me with printing spot colours on a PC600?

My recently aquired second hand pc600 is running very well printing and cutting using process colours.
I am using coreldraw and windows XP and am having difficulty getting it to print spot colours. My old pnc5000 prints spot colours OK using the same software.
Any ideas what to do.

Regards
Dave

Hi Graham,
I also have been running XP without any major problems. I did however need to download XP drivers from Roland site for the PNC5000 and just recently for the PC600.
