I suppose thats the trouble buying second hand, there are no user manuals etc and I never thought that you would need regular checks/service. I'm gonna have to investigate more, I don't want this thing to go, I have heard a lot of horror stories about compressors!!! If anyone knows of a company who ...

Compressor worries...

Hi all, I am using a compressor for my airbrush, which I bought second hand, but was made by Morris & Ingram, who seem not to exist anymore. The problem is that I have noticed the compressor is leaking oil around the seam of the tank. To me, this seems like it is cracking and therefore dangerous...

Yes you can

With screen printing, you can get good detail, but it really depends on the size of the mesh. The screens I have for sale will easily cope with letters at approx 5mm high, as my intention was to use them for half tone images (images with gradients).

Just a quickie from a web designer...

If any of you have bought your domain name and don't have anything hosted, you may be losing out. What you can do, is just create what we call a landing page. At the moment, if you don't have anything there, it probably goes to the hosts landing page and explains that this domain is owned by... etc....

Question about Magicut Paper

Hi all, I have currently been using textile vinyl to produce my t-shirts, but have been recommended to try magicut's paper transfers (see http://www.magicut.co.uk/products/paper.htm). They claim it is screen printing inks that you can cut and weed. I phoned up their office and booked in for a demo t...

Does anybody know how to print 60% coverage from Photoshop?

Hi Folks, Got another question... Does anybody know how to print 60% coverage from Photoshop? The reason is that I need this for using puff inks and the gaps are used to allow the puff to expand without stretching or distorting the garment. Trouble is, I have hunted around in Photoshop and can't fin...

Does one already exist? or can someone help us out here.

For example, I'm confused about what material is used for stickers and window stickers (the stuff that you can screen print on).

Look forward to your replies...

Thanks Adrian for your offer, but I am a newbie and this is one of my first big jobs, and I kinda feel obliged to to the task myself.

However, if I do find myself in the deep end, I will give you a ring for sure.

Help from Target Transfers

The PU material we have has a sticky carrier (ENVIRO). This normally is a HOT peel. However, most materials have a COLD peel. The material from Xpres is a cold peel and the one from Vic is a hot peel too. If its not peeling because the edges are 'welded' to the garment, then the reason is cutting to...

what ink should i use for printing car stickers?

Just a quickie!

What kind of ink from sericol would I use for screen printing my own stickers, signs, lighters etc.? And does this ink need to be dryed through a dryer or can it air dry?

Also, if anyone has a one colour screen print machine for sale, i'd be interested.

Many thanks,
Dave
