only used twice for small labels, to include stand, cover, box of new blades lots of used cartridges had new print head and platen last year hasnt been used since, still as new. Offers no VAT for quick sale. Reason for sale just dont have the work for it.

Hi All,
can anyone give me some pointers on how you line a cab of a lorry eg around all the panels,doors etc,I used to do it with my dad years ago using a straight edge and a fitch and a small brush to drop the corners.Any help would be apriciated.

BANNER VINYL

We use Oracal 651 on all our banners no problems as yet I even did a 40ft curtain sider for floors to go in black all in 651 its been on for about two years now and its still looking good , the total lenghth of the lettering was 30ft long x 21inch high I will post a pic of it soon.

we did 16 17ft x 5ft banners a few months ago I had them flat on two sheets of ply and they were kept in place with screws in each corner through the eyes :o we use Oracal 651 on all our banners its brill stays nice and flat and is a bar steward to get off and we allways wet it a little. Hi all, well I've got to have an operation (hysterectomy) and will probably be off work for about 4 months they reckon.But I can still do my designing at home save to disc then get my partner steve to cut out at the yard.

How does everyone cut the vinyl around door handle recesses and wheel arches etc. Can it be done from the vehicle outlines ( although have tried but doesnt cut near enough) or do you trim after application with a scalpel. Have seen it done on a few of your pics before. Maybe its another demo for you...

I use basic weld but on screen after I get little hair line out lines between text and shadow as if the whole thing has moved after welding.I will try your method Andy, it is usualy e's and a's like Brian said anything curvy.

I use signlab, when I do my text then apply a block shadow,weld & apply reg marks it never seems to line up properly, even if I put it together letter by letter the text never seems to fit to the shadow resulting in a small gap between shadow and text which shows the van colour and looks awful. ...

Yes Lorraine, I covered the rubber seals with vinyl but then also used clear vinyl slightly larger than the text to cover the seals right round. It still looks good, it hasnt moved from the seals even after power washing.
