Production runs would be in the 1000's and would be just pens we where after engraving/marking.

Could you point me in the right direction for a suitable machine.

Can you laser engrave metal pens on these machine's (with some form of rotary attachement)? would be a worthwhile investment for our company if it was possible.

Does Adobe Illustrator CS not have the 'Live Trace' feature ? I'm using CS 2 and it has a half decent raster to vector tool (object - Live Trace - Make and Expand). You could also use Adobe Streamline which is another Raster - Vector application (you have to tweak the settings to get it right though...

How to create an Embroidery Jacquard ?

Does anyone know the process/software involved in making Jacquards ?

We spend hundreds a year on creating/editing these and would like to create our own in-house if its relatively cheap to setup.

Any infomation would be greatly appreciated.

What operating system you using?

Had the same problem on mine about 5 months ago (windows XP) when used to dial up on my 56k modem, to solve the problem I had to firewall the connection (a pretty simple task to perform in XP).
