Vehicle outlines - alternative to Impact?

Hi All, Not sure I'm posting in the right section here so admin, please feel free to move this post as you see fit. I've used Impact Vehicle Outlines since forever. I was always happy with how responsive they (Brian) was to requests for outlines / new models and updates etc. But, I've struck out 4 t...

Paper towels - recommendations?

Hi All, I found a post on the forum here that was from 2006 asking what people used as a paper towel? I was interested in one of the products but the code the guy quoted is obsolete. It was a Tork product. I called Tork but they were'n't that helpful in that they couldn't be specific. We've been usi...

Clean with whatever cleaning solution you need to to remove finger prints etc. Then oil it. Baby oil works very well :)

Re: Low tack tape for signwriting

I can recommend the tape sold by Handover. If you're a seasoned sign writer, you'll appreciate that their tape can be torn easily mid letter and peeled back to allow you to complete those round letters and numbers etc.

^That will make sense to sign writers!^

[quote="Hugh Potter"]Hi Darren, I have a latex and haven't tried textile films as I was led to believe they weren't too long lasting.. if you do a lot of hi-vis it may be worth considering a cheap A4 ricoh subli printer, the colours will be a little overpowered by the yellow but I've never...

Can anyone recommend a printable garment film for my HP 330 Latex?

Hi All, Having a little bit of trouble finding the right material. We have some hi vis waist coats that require some printed logos on them. We were using an Eco Solvent machine to do this but have recently changed to a latex machine (a HP 330) and now the garment film won't lift when transfer film i...

Hi,

Sorry - been away this weekend.

I did have a call on Friday about the Summa. The chap said he was planning on coming down tomorrow but would call again today. So I'll give him first dibs.

I will update this thread if he buys it.

I have checked out the prices of Signlab and £550 for the upgrade is quite reasonable ....altho I'm not sure if that includes the thermal printing module :o

So, I think I am calling it a draw !

My new PC was bought primarily to run other design and router software faster as my old PC was maxed out and still not quick enough. I wasn't particularly bothered about Windows 7 but didn't consider that Signlab e6 might not run on it.
