Chris Wool: I tried a profile which has worked no problem before, and this did make the tint less obvious, but the tint is still there. As the tint is green, am I right in thinking its the C and Y colours that are out of balance ? The colours look perfect in PS, its only on the print itself when the...

Just an update: I've just carried out a test print. I made 4 bars in Photoshop, each bar being either K, C, Y or M. The bar would be a gradual fade from 100% to 0% of each colour. It all started out fine, but as the colours started to get closer to 0%, there was a noticable amount of green tint appe...

Hi Lorraine, I thought the change in media type had fixed the tint, but I dont think it has. I tried an image converting to CMYK in Photoshop, but its still doing it. The tint problem is annoying itself, but the way it keeps happening after fixing it is the main grief I'm getting. Thanks, Adam H

Hi Lorraine, Thanks for the reply, I'll give that a go. Does the image have to be saved as a PSD for the CMYK to register? Or will JPEG do? I think I have got around the current image by changing the media type in Onyx, it looks a lot less green but there's still a sepia look to the printed image.

why does rockhopper keep printing green tint on all imagery?

I'm having an on/off (more on) problem with my Rockhopper II. The printer seems to (without any changes made to profiles or settings) print a green tint on all imagery. The first time this happened, I tried some different profiles within Onyx, which seemed to work after a few attempts. This lasted a...

Hi all, I've just got hold of a rockhopper 2 and I'm trying to set it up for networking printing. For some reason I can't print to the IP address I've been given by the previous owner. I've tried pinging the IP address from the laptop, but I don't get a response. Anyone have any helpful hints/tips o...
