9th July Virus.

Apparently on Monday a virus is supposed to shutdown or destroy many computers. It was spread last year and is supposed to be sitting and waiting for the 9th July to do whatever it's supposed to do. Don't know how true this is, might me a load of tosh but just thought I'd let you know anyway. Skynet...

This is hard to explain mate. But under the head where the flat plate meets the side wall fibers attach there. only tiny ones that are really hard to see. They get trapped.

Have you bee printing banners mate? Sometimes the fibers from the edges can attach themselves to the heads giving this spray effect.

Did the customer sign the quotation, agreeing to the quoted price, and that deposits are non refundable? Either way you have provided your services to him, which are chargeable. Bullguard antivirus software cleared a shed load of infected cookies and hidden temp files. The disc space is up to nearly 4gb.
And no porn is viewed on this laptop Phill. The misses is always around anyway! :(

As above really. The max space is 31.3gb. I've exported all the work on the laptop to an exterior drive and the max I get back is about 1gb. Strange when ive just removed 9gb of files. I used to have a Mutoh that did the same. It was found to be the voltage set incorrectly in the main board. Shouldn't try and adjust it yourself though.

I always apply frosted wet. I'm crap at doing it dry! :oops:
The Pick N Mix job went on for a while on the design side as the customer couldn't decide what to have.
The Reset Job was the first job using 3m IJ380 wrap. Nice vinyl to use and no problems at all.

Used the kettle method in the past and yes it works well. But if you are outside in the cold as it is at the moment the panels will cool down quickly. Just be prepared to send the kettle into overdrive! :wink:
For me though a heat gun is my preferred method.

As at the moment I don't have anywhere in doors to do vans. I'm finding as I'd presume some of you are as well the cold is slowing jobs down. When I explain the vinyl doesn't go down as well or as fast as I'd like in low temperatures some are taking this as an excuse that I'm either bulsh!tting them...

Its to do with path direction & the order the design is drawn in, the first line would normally be at the back, 2nd line in front of that etc. Each file saves this info so when you group your files it will cut all the 1st drawn lines which means it will jump from design to design. Summa plotter...

I use an external hard drive to back my work onto.

A friend of mine has one in Nottingham. The quality i've seen so far is great and the machine has proven to be very reliable.

The one in the pic is a 550, this comes up on google images when the 250 is typed in. not sure if there is much difference mate.

Well between us we've now got 6 to contend with so it's always a busy house mate. That probably why there'll be no more kids cos there's always somebody up! (and i'm not!) :wink: :o

Don't you believe it Karl, the screaming at 2 o'clock in the morning isn't going to go away. Soon you will have screaming because he's cutting teeth, then they start school and go to lots of parties so wake you up at 2 in the morning being sick, then as teenagers they become rebellious and it's lou...
