What software are you using as there is various ways to achieve this.

Corel and Illustrator just apply a transparency layer on the grouped cluster of names.

Photoshop: reduce opacity on same layer.

Try searching for VideoLan or Microsoft media player classic. Divx is a compressed mp4 codec. What you need is the decoder for mpegII. I would reecommend VideoLan as A)its free (open source) B) it will play loads of filetypes.

It sounds as though it may be your fans.
if you are confident enough to clean yourself. open the case up and give the fans a good clean. A can of compressed air should do the trick.

It will surprise you the amount of dirt that gathers on them.

They are a great tv only downside is the time it takes to flick between the different scart connections.

The reason your getting it is because one of Robs friends wrote the software for him and hosts it on his server, he has a large server and they are moving/ backing up just now. That will be the reason your are getting the errors.

hmm not sure on the cadet plus, generally you need to either syringe or a few medium/ powerful cleans although i'de syringe.

Keep doing a test print till it gets clear.

take off the cover, with the head parked & connect your syringe to the cyan tube and pull throught the ink until you have a good flow of cyan and clear the air bubbles.

The way i have ours networked is with 2 seperate nic's, one dedicated to the Grenadier and the other access all the other pc's. Like Rob said Troop will not function correctly or at all with service pack 2, unless they have now sorted that.

Active x controls usually lead to spyware trying to install on the computer (although not all active x controls lead to spyware), I would run a scan on your pc just to make sure.

What material where you printing on to? I think thats probably about right for the amount you have printed.. Try Production (360x720) 2 passes and bidirectional. Why not try print onto some wrap vinyl and apply vinyl to vacuumed shape, if the shape isnt too hard to wrap. As you say most vinyls will melt under extreme temperatures.

Just another option.

I think theres a font called "Interceptor" or "Stop". They are modern/ futuristic stencil like fonts similar to the one that Banksy uses. That might give you a starting point.

We use a 3M glue for this sort of thing, it comes in a double barrel tube and is mixed together as it leaves the nozzle. Robs the one to get the exact details from as he fits the signs, im just the design/ production lol.

yes i redraw everything from scratch using artwork supplied by the customer. I suppose ive been vectorising now for around 8 years so im so used to speeding around them.

I used MD5 white to print the graphics and coated with clear using laminator. The image looked really crisp, there was also the smaller image on rear that also came out really good.

We use the same materials and the proper profiles for said materials and the odd occasion we get the odd band now and again. There are many ways this can be caused but the ones I pointed out are the more common culprets.

I get this on the odd occasion with the Grenadier (when printing the same image a good few times). In the troop software rip go to the tab with lets you adjust your print area, this lets you drag the black line away from around said image. this usually works for me when I have a missing contour Line.

Mark, Yeh, that’s possible. The more detail in the photograph the more realistic the person will look. i.e. wrinkles under eyes, hair, light and dark areas.
