Thinking of Hanging a Courier.

Ordered some blank banners the other day. "They'll be with you thursday, sir" Excellent I thought, they'll probably arrive early afternoon giving me enough time to apply vinyl, package them up and get them off to the customer in Liverpool in time for the weekend when they need them. (I know I'm cutt...

Edge Flood Coats.

Can anybody help? I'm printing some stickers for car windows in reverse, and trying to get a flood coat on the back of the letters only. (The customers wants the rest of the sticker to remain clear, but have a backing on the lettering so the Red doesn't look pink.) I've read the mauals, which were s...

Temporary exterior banners

A customer has requested some exterior banners 20ft x 4ft, for single use that only need to up for a couple of days maybe a week.

My first thought was tyvek. Which i believe to have a 2-3 year exterior life. :-?

But i was wondering if anyone had any other ideas??

Our Gerber Fastrack 1300, has been acting weird since last year when it chewed up some vinyl. For some reason it will only cut the width of it's baby brother the Fastrack 650. I had two engineers come out and look at it. both scratched their heads and charged me for the privelege of a call out. I've...

Two Gerber machines. A fastrack 1300 and a little GSX 15.
Was stuck with them from the business I took over last year. But then couldn't resist the price at which we we're offered them back from the Repo men a couple of months ago.

Was wondering bout it because someone I know had heard about and wanted some car door grapihcs done in it. But the design he wants would have to go over the trim on the doors.

I believe Avery do a range (special order probably).

Also has anyone here used it before?
How easily does it cut?
And how conformable is it?

A heat gun with variable dial is the best bet. As you can set them to a sensible temp to work with vinyl. I bought a spare one last year that only had two settings hot or really hot. It now resides here purely for use as a cigarette lighter.

I'm sure i read this somewhere before in the forums, but can't find it now. Does anyone know the name of the perferated printable material used on bus windows. I'm sure there is a 38cm sprocketed version aviable as the little 'portfolio' thing I got with my edge had a printed sample. Thanks Martin

And if we evolved from apes. Why are there still apes about today. :S Another little point to think about: Humans share 99% of their genetic structure with chimapnzes, but we also share 50% of it with bananas (did i spell bananas right it's like Steve McManamanamanamanaman I never know when to stop.)

A nice relaxing, sunny saturday morning sat down in the garden. Coffee cigarette and paper. And then my mobile phone decides to ring, with the number of my premises coming up on the screen.
