Re: Mutoh ValueJet 1304 Vertical Banding

I used to have a Mutoh before I upgraded. If it’s vertical banding it’s either: 1. The pinch rollers need cleaning with isopropyl 2. The media is at fault Neil D. Thanks Neil, I'll have a look a the pinch rollers and give them a clean. The media should be fine as the same roll prints perfectly in m...

I have tried cleaning the encoder strip, but no luck. There are some ink spots on it by the capping station. But I"m pretty sure that these have been there for ages. There are no marks on the main length of the encoder strip.

Mutoh ValueJet 1304 Vertical Banding

Hi, I've started getting a lot of vertical banding across all CMYK colours on my VJ-1304. I've tried changing the head and maintenance station but still get the same results. I've messed around with the heater settings and wave patterns, it improves marginally or gets worse, but never seems to get r...

Thanks for your advice Peter. I've had a long look round for this stuff and have ended up going with Robert Horne as suggested. Very helpful and reasonably priced too.

Cheers for your help. :)

Roland Camm-1 Servo GX-24 cutting problems

Hello, I cut a few pieces of text last night (converted to curves) and it all looked like it had cut correctly, until I came to weed it when I found that in two instances of the same word at the same place the cutting had simply stopped half way through a letter. It also did the same thing when I tr...

Roland Versacamm SP-300V vs. VP-300

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between these two machines. I have worked out that the VP cuts quicker, but that's about it... Surely there must be more differences?

Also, which of the two machines would you recommend?

Many thanks, Oliver.

Complete cut out? How to?

Hello, this is probably a really simple question... I'm sure there's a more t...
