I have found "parcel2go.com" to be fairly reliable and cheap on parcels upto 25 kilos, anyone else use them?

quick tip....cover the bottom surface of the jigsaw with masking tape so that it doesnt scratch the surface of the material you are cutting or buy some PTFE stick on tape from a tool supplier like axminster tools for a permanent complete non marking method of using a jigsaw.

Why not try and convince him to purchase a secondhand/used gerber-edge then if things dont work out you should be able to sell it again for approx what you paid for it, if it works out you can always trade it in for a new one at a later date.

I would really like to know some of the prices you pay for sheet plastics foam acrylics etc, it would help to know if I am being ripped off or more to the point if there is much room to negotiate better prices with the supplier.Heres hoping you may be able to contribute to this thread.

Good idea steve, from amari a half sheet ie 2030mm x 1520mm x 6mm clear plexiglass £66.83+ vat is that good or bad? works out at their list price minus 75%

Hi Kevin, I could cut them for you on our cnc router but you could do them yourself with a handheld router. All you need to do is cut them to size ie a3/a4 then make a very simple template of the shape you require from a piece of mdf or foam or any material that is easily worked, just jigsaw out the...
