Sorted, the pipe under the capping station had come off. Put back and valves opened and ink pulled through sorted it.

Just thought it was worth reporting incase anyone else suffered from it.

Hybrid are quoting minimum...

Re: Using non oem parts for printer

My tec guy told me the docking station non gen part was a tad too small so part of the head was left open. That’s on a Mimaki. I think the difference was £40

Re: Heat transfer flex remover - Best product?

place an iron upside down and place the garment on top of it, the heat softens the glue much better than just repressing it again. saved my bacon a few times with this one lol

Re: Your views on finance for signs please?

We contacted a fast food customer and asked why he went with another company ( not local to us) as we had done work for him before. He said it was quite simple, they offered finance over 12 months. I wanted a deposit and the rest upon completion. It was a full refit inside and outside. We quoted £42...

photo scaling help required

Hi The customer has asked for a scaled photo of the propossed sign on the building so he can submit to the council. So I`ve taken a photo, enlarged it in signlab so the door is what I`ve measured it at. I`ve dropped the sign over the top of the photo and its bang on what I measured it to be. My prob...

Thanks David, flexiface is an option, they have asked for diabond though, but that might have been put in their head by another signmaker.

I`m sure there is another system... I`ll keep looking

Large round sign advice needed

Hi All Just been to quote for a major company, who require a large sign, their logo is round. The required size is 4m in dia. Using diabond could turn into a nighmare as there would be several joins, all of which could move over time. I am sure I have seen a system where there is an alloy framework ...

Do I have to re inforce the bends? I have a V grove saw for sign trays, is this better. I can cobble somethi...

Ashbys no longer do light boxes with tubes, they`ve now gone all LED`s which makes a 450cm x 65cm nearly £800 + VAT just to get in.

Where do you guys now go to?
