I'm on the final leg of whether to invest in digital print or not. Ive been reading some interesting stuff on here, and now i'm coming to the crunch. yes.. it's me again does anyone have any maintenance issues with eco solvent printin machines ? i have a inkjet that prints waterbased inks and it's fine, no problems. but ive heard that with light solvent inks and full solvent inks some printers need lots of maintenance, problems with ink crusting ...

Bulk Eco solvent inks in the uk ?

Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the UK that sells bulk eco solvent inks ? or even bulk mild solvent inks ?
There are plenty of places across europe and in the far east, but i don't know of anyone here, if anyone can shed light on this it would be most helpful, regards Chris

thing is, what about multiples ?
taking a screen printed correx board for example.
is digital print a viable alternative to short run screen print,
for eg 100 boards 3' x 2' ?
i'm pretty new to the whole digital print thing you see.
we have avoided it for years for many reasons.

thanks rodney, thats really interesting. we have an epson 7000 with DX3 heads do you know where i can source solvent resistant parts for it, or if there are any companies out there i can get in touch with to do it. we seriously need to get our machine changed over to do this, and wouldnt mind taking...
