My advice would be A4 printer, but buy 2 and keep one for a spare because the jets are bound to get blocked when you least want them too.

Set the page size in Corel to the size you want, not familar with your cutter but make sure layout is same size there to.

Thanks for the replies. Have read past threads on the PC 60 aware some people have changed the head themselves and job done others run into problems. Just upgraded from windows 98 and Corel Draw 8 to windows xp and Corel Draw 11. In the old system we could cut/print with our PC 60 direct from corel. Can we do this with xp and Corel Draw 11 and if so how?

Not used the Epson 2100 but we have two 1290 and they are great,we also use third party ink trouble free (Choicestationery).Perhaps the trouble caused to the C80 was sublimation ink.

Hi David,
We use Epson printers and i would recommend a 1290 (prints up to A3) retails about £320 but have a look on ebay you should be able to pick up a new one for £250 tops.We use compatable ink and get great results.

Becky get onto xpress and ask for a sample from them apply it properley and you won't have a problem with it coming off, judge the quality yourself.p.s xpress are pricey but good to deal with - you can't have it all ways can you?[/left]

yes only breaks with magenta i've been told the temp is hotter for this colour?

Hi Robert,
Not original roland but APPOLLO refills, we have used them quite a while with no problems.
We have joined the breaks but when refitted they just break again,Paul at APPOLLO asked if we had a new head because they run at higher temp but no ones been near the machine.

Hi, We use replacement ribbons from Appollo and up to now have had no problems.This morning we changed a magenta ribbon and continued with a job but the ribbon just kept breaking,we changed it twice then gave Paul at Appollo a ring who suggested printing at a lower resolution which we did and finish...
