An interesting projects as we had to cover the existing grey, white and black cladding panels and fold the edges. This meant a grey backed white with the yellow laminated on top. The lightbox was LED :D

Does anyone make a white transparent vinyl. Like a red transparent but white.
A frosted or translucent is not suitable as it blurs too much.

After many samples we eventually managed to get the desired effect.

Reverse printed on clear and applied to curves in large single sections, LED illuminated.

Hugh, I agree it would be good to look at things fresh :D Maybe work out a colour palette etc I looked at incorporating a dragon, then just flames.... I not sure you need it, but maybe that could just be me :-? Here's a logotype using just the name plus stroke widths taken from the different stroke ...

After months of problems the issue was finally resolved. I had been told by a call out engineer it was most definitely not a hardware problem and that the problem was with either the RIP, the files or the profiles. After doing so many tests I couldn't work out how it wasn't a problem with the machin...

Hi Dave...still on original ink, it happens with all files whether pdf, vector ai, jpg even patterns.....Tried just about every type of file! If it's a full colour CMYK print with a load photographic colour changes it's hardly noticeable however if it's grey scale or duotones etc it's no use. Not go...

I'll often cut 2 sets of letters making the base letter an inline of the outer letter, drill and countersink the base letter and then bond the top letter to the base letter.....making it sound more difficult than it actually is :D

Thanks.....I did notice that the plastic gauge connected to the cap said hot/cold as opposed to max/min.

i have a light on that looks like a handbrake like which can go off when I go round a roundabout.

Rob...Your subconscious brain would respond very well to suggestion, these suggestions can create very positive changes.
As an experiment print this off on an A4 and without studying draw it upside down.

The ipad is great when you've got time to kill.....there's very good drawing applications and they work well with a stylus, also a thing called Football Manager can keep an 11 year old quiet for hours and hours, an absolute joy.

Thanks John... and everyone else. I had a test drive yesterday and it struggled up the Haylie Brae. Andy....I've got lots of wee holes to drill and the wooden fascia is traditional and angles slightly towards the ground...right angle to the sloping fascia is what I am look for... I think :D

We don't really do wraps but thought I would try a pattern on my snail......did it in clear with matching laminate because of the colour of the wheels etc...and wanted to see if it worked.......very different than working in laminated white No way I'm driving it now :D :D :D Blurred out the website ...

It is possible to buy smaller sections of vikuiti film but it still costs a fortune and is one sided with the reverse appearing black. The image will work on frosted....I tried it on a section as I was about to scarily apply the vikuiti....Would work in a nightclub if it the surrounding area was pre...

Do you think it would be good idea to have a fridge [noticeboard] idea where you just posted a picture of a an inspirational sign or graphic you had come across. I would imagine it to be just images....and as it progressed have a vehicle fridge etc. Guess I'm just struggling for ideas at the moment ...

All the various sizes of uppercase italic type with drop shadows mayl need to moved to the unnecessary section :D Different simple weights may look nice.. Helvetica Neue extra light to bold is nice although not always appropriate due to the light weight......trying to be constructive after my notsom...

Because the template had to be re-used I router cut them from 3M x 2M 3mm foamex with holding tab things [11 sheets].....each panel had the correct base line and butted against eachother.....Wasn't ideal but they lasted....just :D Corex would have worked a lot better but needed the 3M x 2M size :D :...

different manufacturers of plasterboard
whether the plasterboard has been sealed
the number of coats and the paint used

all have an effect on how and adhesive performs....so I was told :D

Thanks Rob......... This is very embarrassing :oops: Because I wanted to router cut lines as opposed to offset I had changed it to pen thinking it would router cut the line....I hadn't changed it back.... After taking it to bits and sending photos the engineer said lets try something really stupid.....

I don't think you need to include a map or anything....just get something you like the look of .......maybe something that will combine digital and plotter cut vinyl........

kind of copy design a lot of people using the shape....but gives the idea....

When you get a Beefeater Menu the letters are very large and all the E's are the same.

I just think if you were creating a brand that has a stamped letter effect you might as well change letters that repeat...

Hi John...sorry I missed this..... I think Martin's will work well ....I would change one of the ss :-? so it doesn't look too much like standard font.....It annoys my when I stay at a Premier Inn and the BEEFEATER restaurant's logo is a brand effect font and the letters remain the same [Es]... know...

router cut letters the wrong size...wallpaper that doesn't fit the wall....templates with the wrong version of the logo.....a hanging out box with a flat bracket when the fascia is sloping. I'm either a guy trying to get finished and not being able to multi task or I am indeed getting old and dodder...
