There is a show over here called "Mythbusters" on the discover channel. They dispell, or prove urban myths. They showed that a penny could not puncture the skin from any height, it just doesn't have the mass. I wouldn't want to test one on my head though.

A cadet is a re-branded Versacamm, right?
If so, it would work as a plotter. I use ours all the time. It does cut a lot slower than our other plotter though, but if you are not in a rush then it works just fine.

Not sure if this would help, but I have heard of people not weeding the vinyl until after it is on the substrate, this way the small pieces won't get pulled off.

We have used plastic with a mirror coating on it. I would ask your plastics supplier if they have anything like this. Looks just like a real mirror as long as it is flat. Light weight and shatterproof.

That's true Andy. Also, most of the biggest firms have a very simple logo. FedEx is a good example. It's really simple text, but you recognize it. Almost all cars in the U.S. are automatic, well not almost all, but a lot more than in the U.K. They are pretty much standard from the dealer, you have to search for manual. I have always had a manual though.

I've never had to start over again when replacing an ink cartridge. It does pop up a warning on my Rip (versaworks) that says printing was paused and I have to hit that for it to continue.

In Versaworks, double click on the little picture of the printer in the top left corner of the screen. It should have ink levels on there somewhere, (don't have the program open in front of me).
I never check personally, I always have enough ink in stock so it doesn't matter if one is low.

If you are using the Versaworks Rip it is basically the same. Name a new color "CutContour", make it a spot color, .25 pt line weight and save as an .eps.
It will show up as dancing ants in your rip when you go to settings.

We finally got some time to do the next step. We attached the top of the reel to the steel frame, then I taped up the backlit film I printed. Now we need to attach the bottom, then hang it. I'll post some more once it is in place.

I cook steak 90% of the time on my BBQ. I let them marinade for at least a few hours before I cook them. I like mine well done so I always put it on low heat and just let them sit there while I get everything else ready. I let my dog get a taste to see if they are ready. :D

I don't like risking cutting into the table mat so I use a sacrificial piece of PVC, then tape my piece to that. I usually don't clamp, but I didn't want to risk this one slipping so I put a couple of clamps on it. The vacuum usually holds down everything fine though.

Photoshop is a little tricky, especially if you haven't used it much.

I don't think it will work Jill, almost positive it won't. As far as the charger goes though, I bought a power converter last time I was over there for about 20 pounds. Probably not worth it to just charge your phone, but I have family there so I left it there for my next trip. Check with your phone...

We have two 8'x4' self healing mats cut to size. Our table is a little larger than normal.
