There are suppliers selling Chapter 8 kits made from standard reflective (Nikkalite Crystal Grade Red) are these not Chapter 8 I am no expert with this but i have been fitting self cut chevrons for over 5 years and never had any rejected.

Totally agree William Smith are great I think Jean misunderstood my comment directed at big brand products. they are great and as good and no better in my opinion than Oracal but you pay a premium for an established brand name behind them.

Weight it

Full roll - core weight divided by 50 gives you an estimate weight per meter
I have had some success with this +/- 1 m but be careful as different manufacturers use different density of Core's so you have to adjust.

great advise we are stuck for space and looking for a dust free option that can be fitted along the wall of the vehicle fitting workshop.

They are OK outside but you might want to point out that if they get dirty on the reverse you may have to remove to clean. the fixings can also be easily unscrewed so a drop of locktight on the thread can help with this. But then its dificult to remove for cleaning. catch 22...... neil

Its just pdfs not sure about tiffs and jpegs as they are saved and not printed To my concern is customers having to rotate onscreen to see them the right way up. i can rotate in Signlab and then print and this works but is a bit of a pain but if you have dimensions on screen they stay upside down.

Got a quote to prep re a very large sign on cladded building anyone done anything this big before.

I think dibond panel's with roof fixings as Roberts Demo should be the correct method for this, would you agree or can you recomend anything else more suitable.

Id say its probably ok but if you start to cut media over a 1m then the drop of the vinyl off a stand and vertical to the floor will help with any alignment problems its agravity thing :lol: I made my first stand out of mdf and had the graphtec media rollers on a shelf below worked a treat for years...

Yes the finished graphics measured 6000mm long when fitted them but we ended up cutting them a 6600mm this could change depending on the depth of recesses I don’t think all containers would be the same.

I think some of the maunufacturing is outsourced ive had problems with quality before. I know get my stainless letters cut by a lazer cutter at half the price and glue plastic locators onto the rear ( As per Robs Demo ) works realy well if studs are needed I get a local fabricator to stud weld them ...

fixed it.

A very nice man at Cadlink (Ray) said i had to much ram and by changing my virtual memory settings
it worked i hope this may be of some help if anyone else has a similar problem in the future.
