Hi There I tend to think that LEDs and Neon have their place. After being in the neon trade for the last 20 years there are always new ways of lighting...some last.... some dont. If you need a good bright sign then Neon is the answer and for smaller stuff maybe LEDs. I have read on other neon forums...

Hi There

Chris is right.

When the fad of LEDS is over..... neon will be back in fashion. Look at things even now..UK glass shops rushed of their feet. Is this the start !

Anyway check out neon over LEDs next time.

Hi there I ship neon signs, neon clocks etc etc all the time via the post and courier. I have to consider the packaging but the failure (broken) rate is extremely low. When neon is in a case with plenty of packing it should be fine. Yes ...couriers do not insure Glass !!!!!!! GOOD to see someone buy...

Hi All I dont for one minute have the answers to this LED v NEON debate. I know that the neon trade is trying to fight back. I think sign companies should ask themselves some questions before deciding whether to use one above the other. Do i need a hi output illumination? Which is better for outside...

It dismays me that everyone is pushing the cheaper imported neon signs. There is a great UK neon market out there making quality neon signs that is always overlooked. I know that price is always an issue but it doesnt hurt to charge more for a unusual one off neon sign in different colours and style...

Hi There There are really three types of neon signs on the Market. The signs at The Gadget Shop are the cheapest and suitable for home use, Imported neon signs are for more commerical use and are normally selling at £150-180 (cheaper for trade) for a standard OPEN sign. And then you have custom made...

Thanks for all your advice and help. I will try and see if Tunewell transformers still have a range of neon transformers as i used to use them many years ago. I also like the idea of Matel range so i may try those too. Its always worth trying to improve on things so its time for a change. Thanks to ...

Anyone know of any good neon transformers?

Hi Does anyone know of a neon supplier of GOOD electronic neon transformers? I have used the same ones (Hanson) for years and have noticed a highish failure rate on certain types. I would like to try another type that would be suitable for indoor window hanging displays. Anyone into neon who can hel...

:o Hi There. I run a small neon company on the south coast and design my own neon signs. I agree with the last posting regards choosing neon colours that go together. To be fair most colours already go together in some form but if they don't it can ruin the whole appearance of the sign. Another good...
