Using the word Silverstone is copyright infringement. The word is a trademark same as Suzuki, Honda, Ford etc using any of these words even if its not in there company font is breaking the law. I would do it in pieces, the petals i would do in two halves with the center heart of the flower over the top in one, maybe router the edges to give it a little bit more shape, that way you can cover the joint of the petals and give it a bit of a 3d effect?

If the blue dots are locators, i would say there are far too many anyway
You could space the big petal shape using split battens, two bits of wood cut full length at 45* then fix one to the back of petal and the other to wall, then just hooks together..

If you have no luck you'll have to Just break the tubes, get them out, then get some smaller ones, and some ends plugs (not sure what call them) what fit on the tube, and regig it to fit in..

Fixed sockets? not heard of them before?
Sometimes they look solid but do have a spring type thing in them and can be pulled out slightly to remove the tube (normally one end only moves on this type).. Post some pic of the box, then we can see if its that bad, or standard construction

Screen printing ain't the way to go.. the vinyl ends up like chewing gum, also it's not a smooth colour, you end up with ridges, dust, squeegee marks and faint lines, i would only use this method for short term stuff. That's why i think all signs should have to have planning permission, the local council planners should get involved more, and not allow shoddy looking foemex tat type signs, on another thread, people were asking should signmakers have certificates, if councils took an interest in the look and style...

But if your only changing the vinyl, why should you worry?? If the guy is too tight to get new panels, and have it done properly, i would just put the vinyl up and say job done, and say to the customer "if you want a proper job, you need new panels .. Sorry i know that don't help......:-? Simon

You could try big head fixings (think that's what their called) bond them to the back and fix the panel as southernandy has said, will look like its floating and the grip fill or silicon will allow the panel to expand and con tract with out any warping etc

I make up foamex signs the same way as perspex, if as Big G said going in a frame; hand held router with side guide, rebate, fish plate on back, hanging strips and locking bars, that way you won't end up with gaping or bulging panels

To be honest, i think they are over priced, and when i looked, they were not that well made, flimsy metal, a tool to do all instead of one tool for each job.

If i were starting up in a unit i would go for separate tools, saw bench router & table etc..

oracal 751-067 blue is not a bad match to 2955, but the pink red will be hard to find, maybe get someone to flood coat, in either digi or silkscreen

Depends on how much vinyl you need.. some companies will pantone match vinyl but to make it cost effective you'll proberly need to order something like 500m.
But it may be far less, not sure as i've never asked

Trouble is, a lot of people don't bring in camera ready artwork, so when you say it £25 for the print and £100 to do the artwork, they say just enlarge it.. That's properly what happen to that banner

You could print onto clear??, and if you contour cut the image it should not notice that much..
What i would do, is get a bit of black, and do a small test print on clear and see what it looks like, maybe shoew the customer??

That's not correct Fozzie, if you haven't been paid for your sign it remains your property, and you are within your rights to remove it, weather the end user has paid someone else for the sign or not. They can only do you for trespass if you are on their land, and you are caught.. Say climbing over ...

Its because there is only one cut line... Draw a letter in corel 12 put on you black outline thickness, then convert outline to object.. you now have a letter with two cut lines..

Thats what we do, knock in a few wire nails into the wall, and photo spray mount the backs of the letters and push onto the nails

not sure evostick will work?? we used to do quite a lot of GRP, and i know it was a pain to get stuff to stick to it, look up GRP on the net for a company that produce's it, and ask them what to use....
Or what about locators??
