use it in a way that you have a lot of application tape at each side rather than a thin flimsy piece. Once this is done, the strip will not go out of line as the width of the app tape is hoding it secure.

Edward Mathias - which blade do I buy??

Hi All, I just got some info through from Edward Mathias who most of you know manufacture plotter blades but there are a couple of different blades that I've to choose from: a GSK19v and an Accu-G. The first is £8.25 and the Accu-G is £20 to start with but you must buy 7 in order to get the holder "...

Wanted - Floor stand for Graphtec plotter

I have a graphtec FC2100-50 plotter which - just now - rests on the floor. I need to get it on a stand so I can mount my vinyl also.

Does anyone know where I can get a stand from or does anyone have one for sale....?

For reference, the plotter takes 500mm wide vinyl max.

Advertising, where are your customers

Advertising is something I haven't really looked at yet but I need to get going as my PC600 has been stationary for quite sometime now! What do you all think is the right way to advertise full colour use of the PC600 and what customers area you think should be targeted. Everyone's view would be much...

Anyone give me tips on aligning vinyl?

Anyone give me tips on aligning vinyl?? I find myself constantly: 1. placing the vinyl using the application tape on the vehicle 2. getting the tape measure out and measuring that I'm 9mm out at one end 3. I re-lift the vinyl and repeat 1 & 2 then find out I'm still out. 4. Vinyl sticks to the v...

views on applying vinyl dry and wet onto vehicles?

As I'm relatively new to the sign trade, could someone please give me their views on applying vinyl dry and wet onto vehicles? I've found when applying vinyl dry the vinyl sticks to the vehicle very easy after smoothing over with a spreader but I tend to get lots of air pockets in the vinyl. Also, t...

They apparently did this by cutting up their own aftermarket Gerber foils and then loaded them into roland cartri...

Print one - no thanks

I tried Print One for my initial cartridges and I'm afraid that they were useless. Every time the cartridge broke due to either the heat or the tension. Rob, you may find that it'll work ok on the PC60 as they have only tested the ribbons on these. They are actually Gerber foils cut up. The colour c...
