Second attempt was ok without a cut. But we didn’t drink beer this time. So more patience;)

The glass is making this part difficult as cannot pull down properly in the gap, otherwise very doable without cut.

What material shall I use to apply on the glass that already is frosted and not damage the existing frost?

Installing Contra Vision / Perforated Window vinyl

Hello forum members. How do you install your Contra Vision? I've done it on few jobs now and when you look strait at it - looks great. But, when you look at your finished product from a side you see some kind of irregularity. There is some kind of pattern on the surface of the vinyl? (stretched / me...

Re: Selling or Buying a Small Business

Like some advice above on this thread, my personal few words on this matter. If you are looking to sell - build up the business well first. I was selling and was not able to sell for the money I wanted. One band businesses are valued 0£. I do not agree but that is a reality. You are the business I w...

Re: Is a Ford mustang stripe done with plotted vinyl or knifeless tape?

Cut stripes. No need for vinyl cutting tape. Pay special attention on the back (top of my photo). Shape of car will dictate where vinyl goes and that didn't look good on mine and I had to re-do it. So, measure but also use your eye to make sure looks good.

I haven't had any issues. Check your vinyl with their vinyl swatch. If not acceptable, speak to them. They will pick it up and replace with new.

Small claim court. Didn't took me long to do it online.
1) They paid me in full.
2) They paid the claim court fee.
3) They paid interest.
As soon as I emailed them the claim, they've paid the next day.

Re: How to approach this type of enquiry?

Good thread Ewan. Thanks. I've worked on optimisation on this matter for years. Picture says a thousand words. I always ask the client to send me a google image or something they like on my website. By sending me this image I see what they like (sign, vehicle graphics etc) then it is easy for me to ...

Re: Problems with weeding vinyl

Easy weeding has been my interest for many years. (as I've done lots of gallery work)

If a sheet doesn't weed easy - it goes in the bin. Simple.

I haven't found vinyl that weeds easier than Metamark. (at that price range)

Re: Summa 140 R Cuts job twice

Some files do generate an extra vector when I send to Winplot and the machine cuts twice. Usually (I've noticed) these files are made in another program and then converted to CorelDraw or Illustrator.

Hello forum members. I have Mutoh ValueJet 1624 and Sai Flexi Print RIP. I have problem printing a particular file. It is a very messy vector file with gradient effects. Every other files prints ok. Re: Curved Monitor for Graphic Designers - has anyone actually USED one?

Thanks Colin.

I have a chance to grab 34-inch Acer at half price. Still not cheap, so I'm not sure. Designing on a curved art-board? I'm not sure it will work. I haven't tried it personally, hence asking if someone actually uses it.
