Hi Dean This these kind of bubbles are normally caused by uneven roller pressure, the first port of call would be to carry out a paper test on the rollers. to do this break down the machine by taking out the laminate and media out of the rollers. cut a a4 piece of paper into 6x 30mm strips lengthway...

Re: MDF Cutting Tables - Covering

Hi Chris

I have been making signs for years and found that the only way to go is the self-healing mat, we have tried using ploy carb and all sorted over the years without great results.
remember to get the extra thick ones so you can use the back side of the mat to get twice the life!

Hi Iain We Have 2 l25500 printers. we bought them new a good 4-5 years ago. a few of things to bear in mind with this early latex machine Power you will require 2x 32a supplies to run the machine so bare in mind extra costs for an electrician. Rip the best rip to go for would be a onyx x10 or newer ...

Re: Printed graphic edges lifting - what could be the cause?

David! you swooped in the and stole my point. I've seen this alot in the past where the laminate has but applied with to much brake (tension) on the top end. That with the laminate shrinking slightly quicker that the vinyl was enough for 15mm of the edge of the graphic to peel away. a good ...

Re: Finishing equipment question

Have the agree with the above!

We have a javelin keen cut bench mounted system, works great, just make sure everything is level

we use the 2500mm version for stand 8x4 panels and also have a 3200mm for the 10ft boards.

both have handles to lift and lower the cutting to clamp the material in place.

Re: External Floor Graphics - hints and tips needed, please?

Hi David

A good little tip with floor graphics especially when on a rough surface is to cut a 15mm rad in the corners this will help stop the edge picking up with footfall, traffic etc!
