I don't have a laser cutter and in the back of my mind, I know the customers wants to pay as little as possible, so was looking for something off the shelf. So yes I could probably make them one, but time = £. (Excuse the pun).

We produce 5000 little service stickers at a time for a client. This stickers are written on and then stuck to the machines they service. We use Digisol 3005 from Allprint. It works well, not sure about the jet washing though

Thanks for the input - Wasn't really looking for recommendations as such, more of a sort of list where members place different manufacturers in terms of quality that you have tried and used etc.
Like a Ford Focus is a car, but its not a Ferrari.... same thing but better.

oh its my fault that a client didn't pay a deposit when asked and I told him the turnaround time on chapter 8 kits, was 4-5 working days, so we cannot do his van tomorrow, as no materials ordered as we didn't have the deposit as requested. I even reminded him...twice!!!

It is an online service, you buy credits.
For the cost I have found them a great service and a timesaver for us and their fee per image to me is a bargain.

Just taken delivery of a roll of MD5 Poly vinyl and its matching lam.
Obviously its pretty cold as its been sat in a warehouse / van overnight.
Is it prudent to let it get to room temperature before using.
The job we are printing needs to align together.

Yes less slivering and the heat make the laminate softer so does seem to go on better and smoother on the rollers.

Can anyone recommend a liquid vinyl remover that can eat the vinyl, not just the adhesive
We have flat panels that have been flood coated in 100% vinyl which now needs to be removed.
Doing one manually and with heat gun has proven time consuming as the vinyl used was high tac.

Yes I have had the same thing with Digiprint with their ink, ordered, saying in stock etc when they are not.
Also found out that they cut the date stamp off Roland inks, I wonder why they do this, hide the use by date by any chance!!!

A couple of percent doesn't bother me, but 175 to 210 is 20% which is a large increase in one go. Which is why I had a double take when we were advised on the new cost, I thought they had quoted me the price including VAT.

No it wasn't the trimming as we didn't print bleed top and bottom, the two rules run across horizontally in the design. So the bottom rule on panel 2 which is about 10 inches from the bottom, didn't align with the same rule on panel 3 etc If it was just a case of trimming the solid off we would have...
