Steinel. Have had it for years and if it ever breaks I'll replace it with another Steinel.
Bought direct from Steinel UK.

Replaced my Gold 3M squeegees about 7 years ago when they changed the material they are made from (something to do with being less toxic) and they didn't last as long. Have been using white Mactac ever since. Keep them in your back pocket to warm them up for a bit of extra flex. Also love the blue H...

3M do metallics in 180 Controltac with and without the Comply adhesive.
Even without Comply it is still a good film for full wraps.

If you're serious about colour and quality the imac's built in screen is going to be restrictive. Check out this site for guides on choosing the correct monitor. And make sure you hook it up to a Mac :D
Refurb and ex demo equipment is the ideal way to buy if you're on a budget.

On the Mac I hold down the option key while I select "add to shape area". This does the expanding part at the same time.

As Dan says but the tool you need to merge it is "add to shape area" in the Pathfinder palette. After this make it a compound path (in the "Object" menu).

I like your version Glenn,
Here's my attempt... I'm thinking a Stainless Steel (or similar) tray with matt black powder coated lettering. Could even be halo lit if the budget allows.

Hi Richard

I work from home and I'm running a Summa T1300 from a Mac. I use the free MacSign software that came with the plotter and drop in files straight from Illustrator.
I would recommend getting a plotter as large as your budget and available space allows, you'll never look back.

Hi John I have somehow managed to be a spectator for years, but felt now was the time to actually comment. I think what you have done so far with your logo is really good. The simplicity of the icon works really well and is also versatile enough to work with different production methods. It's a comm...
