locking nut

you can usually bang a socket over the top of them to remove them. obviously make sure it is almost a fitting socket. then force it over the locking nut / bolt. the tricky part is removing it from the socket once it's undone. a replacement set is about £10 off ebay. what vehicle are we talking about??

i use oracal 651 and find it good when its cool.
when its warm its a nightmare .
as for bubbles they are there sometimes and sometimes not.
the sun tends to clear them after a few days anyhow.

but i find it best to use cool not warm.

same here.
same cutter. im use to sign blazer hotshot now, and find it fast to use.
the auto vector feature is not that good though
a bit rough.
unless of course you can fine tune it.
i swear i learn different things about the software everytime i use it

not too many bubbles.
allready learnt one thing, make sure the van is very very clean.
and take your time removing application tape :D
wished id got a picture of it.

I just got some, 2 metres and it weighs about over 2 kilos per metre :o

heavy stuff,
i peeled the end and the white lifted away.
guess 35 pounds was not that cheap then.

and its not listed in the impact book.

i watched the guy do my 206 rear window. he cut the film roughly the right size and layed it on the rear window the wrong way around. heated it up so it shrunk to the shape of the glass. then cut it better, then he stuck it on the inside of the window. cut it in half horizontal and applied more heat...

i got the vinyl. which is a start.
but the pc is not operating it.
i called the company i got it off, they just said connect the printer lead into the cutter.

but the lead wont fit as its different,
i cant find which port im plugged into either :oops:

Im having no luck with it , ive tried all the ports that it lists.
it says its sending the info to the cutter, and a loading bar pops up.
but it doesnt move the cutter.
i will wait till i get some vinyl as it could be that it wont let it move unless its loaded?? ive no idea.

yeah outline is right. i beleive that its a case of letting it know what port its plugged into.

I tried that nik. i couldnt find a setup anywhere, there was a cas file and a flexi one and sign lab. none of them would open, when i double clicked on the cas one, more came up and they were all the different machines that there are. omega ones that is. om 40 , om 60 , om 70 etc. i clicked on the o...

The disc, well not really. as it wont install.
it says its for windows 98 and i have ME.
should still install though shouldnt it?
all it does is asks what id like to open it with.
