gav, I can understand where you are coming from. I was trying to do the same thing as you are. I know business is probally not the same across the big pond. I ended up seperating my business and have a lot better revenue. I actually had to end up splitting mine up in to three,(Pearson Automotive, MP...

Gray, I recently was attending a sign show and this topic came about. They have taken a drying agent out of the paint, the problem is this is what caused it to bond with vinyl. I've used this for many of years with great results. I'll dig through my notes and see if I can find the chemical name. Fro...

I was doing some giant main text on a sign blank, three colors. Even though the tape was crystal clear, to...

Andy, the weak link on signgold is the adhesieve. On cars, where there is constant wiping and dirt it will peel the edge up and come unmounted. They make an edge seeling pen as martin said, thats what I happen to use, or just some one shot. The film is so delicate that I have actually unmounted it t...

I've love the line of signgold films. I do a most of my work with it.
I try to specialize with this, when most people see it they are just amazed.
It conforms REALLY well to just about any surface. Just remember to edge seal it and you want have any problems.

Nice Work!

Well I know this is going to sound funny. I do a lot of NASCAR graphics, these guys are running at over 200 mph! I have found they actually stay applied longer if I do them wet. (with rapid tac fluid). I don't know if it has an adhesive promoter in it or not , but I have had a lot better results in ...

Check out www.nbm.com
Under the learning online workshops they have a great demo by Jay Lansburg, I believe it's called Bubble Trouble?
I've been to some of Jay's classes and he's a big help.
I hope this helps!

Thank You

I wanted to say Thank You to all the members here. I've been wondering around on here for about a month now. I've learned a great deal from you already. It's always fun to learn and try new things in the sign industry. There are not many sites that I have found where they are some true professional,...
