i use corel and co cut proffessional

do all work in corell press shortcut

takes file straight into co cut software

loads more tools there

easy peasy

very simple to work with and fast,
more than adequate for the majority of vinyl cutting

yes mate always return vinyl around edges where 2 boards joins but my job was going in euro trim so didnt see outer edges so just trimmed flush but signdevil is right must have good good boards cause black gloss shows every scratch if i could get black 5mm gloss for £30 i wouldnt of bothered to floo...

priced last week for a job £47 a sheet in gloss :roll:

too expensive for us

we flood coated white 5mm matt with black gloss
£17 +vat for board + vinyl + my time

alot cheaper same result :lol1:

try signwizard website cocut pro cuts straight out of coreldraw worked ok for me when starting out £299 also signcut download from there free for 30 days give it a go may be better off going straight for signlab cause you tend to get comfy with present software and find it difficult to adjust later ...

agree with you guys

we used to fit etch wet when starting out but total nightmare
to remove app and never felt confident when leaving sometimes
going back next day to check on it.

we now only ever fit etch dry hinge method

but have filled a few bins with mistakes to get to this stage

make sure you dont light a ( oh i swore ) up if your using simon's method :lol1:


otherwise brake cleaner from auto stores shifts old glue etc really good and safe .

got order for 20 scaffold banners 750mm by750mm working area
whats vinyl do you guys use ?
can i get use 5 yr vinyl (got that in stock) with vinyl edge sealer?

yep! a disclaimer is defo a good idea,
most customers dont seem to care if its illegal though (boy racers)

so going to do the van tomorrow
ordered from hexis 25squid a metre ?
anyway how dark can you go on front drivers and passenger windows legally cause hexis dont know and the sell the stuff :oops:

First post ''here goes '' got a sign to do 4800 by 1200 basically two full sheets side by side i was going to use two sheets of 5 mm foam screwed straight onto existing ply boards as they are in good nik, unable to fit in panatrim frame as the sign is inset ,i was just going to trim with stockframe ...
