Composite sign posts for a golf club.

Hello

I had a meeting with a golf club earlier to hopefully update some/all of the signs around the place.
The client mentioned using composite posts to mount the signs on, does anyone know anything about these?
Is he talking decking posts you think?

Thanks

HP365 printing on Mactac vinyl problem

Hello

HP365 run from Onyx RIP 1525mm Mactac 829p vinyl.

The vinyl has a strange banding down one side of the print. Has anyone had this issue before and knows what causes it?
Apologies for the crap images my phone camera lens has a hairline crack in it.

Thanks

A good tip is to leave a border on the vinyl when using a laminator to apply the tape this ensures that the vinyl remains even when feeding in & reduces creasing coming out.

Can be a range of things that leave bubbles in vinyl. Bad squeegee's can leave trace lines, over-lapping application tape can leave straight lines as can multi layered vinyl graphics. I would say the main course is that you are not over lapping your squeegee motion or not enough pressure.

What courier do you use & why?

As my business is picking up quite rapidly i am now finding that i can't deliver all work personally. So i'm having to find myself a reliable / reasonable courier. Can anyone recommend a good service?

Hi Alan

If you want some silicon release paper. Contact a company with a mount shop / laminator. They throw 100's of metre's of the stuff away every week.

If your worried the chavs may steal the lettering - pump the locaters with some Araldite or other top notch glue stuff. They'll probably cut their grubby little mitts on the edges of the lettering trying to get them off.
