Thanks John, I think I automatically installed the Powerdriver when I installed the rest of the setup and ICC profile, should I start again and not install the powerdriver this time?

Many thanks for your help.

Corel and using a Ricoh GX5050N? Need a bit of advice please

Hello all I've got a Ricoh GX5050n, prints out well, but the finished article (e.g. the mousemat I've pressed onto) always has a greenish tinge! I am using Corel 9, and there doesn't seem to be any options to choose what to print onto, I know with other sublimation printers you can choose what you'r...

Printing Photos/Logos onto T-Shirts etc

Hi everyone We use the Ultragraphics system to print full colour logos and photos, onto t-shirts, mostly for stag and hen do's, or small company logos, etc, for small runs. What company would anyone recommend getting the special paper from, which we need to print these logos, etc? We have tried Xpre...

Help with Sublimation Printing - Gone all yellowy!

Hello everyone We use an Epson 1290 with bulk ink subli ink from Novachrome, which has been excellent. Ink is now very slightly out of date. Novachrome say that should not be a problem. We've had a few problems with the yellow printhead, with yellow not printing so well, so we brought a printhead cl...

Oops ... didn't know we had to use a squeegee thingy! I think that would help a lot! Many thanks for that Carrie - really glad you mentioned it. We are total beginners re doing signs, so things like that would not have occured to us! Also, re application tape, is that the same as the heat press tape...

Hi, thanks for your replies, we'll just have to keep trying! The vinyl we have says Ri. Mark - it also has Ritrama, Ri-Mark Series L & M on it. I keep reading that doing signs is much more profitable than printing t-shirts etc - so obviously we want to get into that if we can. Where is the best ...

Hi, thanks for this, it is sticky backed. I had thought it had to be heat pressed! We tried one sign, as you said, cut the wording out on the plotter, weeded it till just the letters were left, then covered with the tape and stuck down - but it took absolutely ages for a 6 word A4 sign! Is there oth...

First time making signs using vinyl?

Hi everyone We normally only print t-shirts etc with vinyl, but have been asked to print an A4 sign for a local business, using vinyl lettering. Sounds daft I know, but how do we do this? Do we print the wording out as normal onto vinyl and then heat press it onto the board? Is there anywhere we cou...

Printing Photos/Logos onto T-Shirts etc - Query

Hello All We are looking for any suggestions for a supplier of suitable ink jet paper for printing full colour logos to be transferred to t-shirts, etc. Currently we use Xpres Ultragraphics A4 paper, which is like a very thin fine white vinyl, which we print onto using a normal ink jet printer and C...

Embroidery Machines

Hello, we're looking into maybe purchasing a small embroidery machine to compliment our heat press work. Does anyone have any experiences of these small machines, the one I keep getting recommended to is the Brother PR600 - has anyone used this or know any which are just as good. Also, can anyone re...

Printing on the back of Polo Shirts / and Ultragraphics

Hello everyone It's my first posting, so hope I'm doing this right! We're a very small heat press printing business, and do mostly very small or one-offs for people. We do vinyl lettering, sublimation and ultragraphics work on t-shirts, polos, etc. What we are having a problem with is printing on th...
