Thanks all, it seems that most suppliers stock this type of vinyl in all but black!! Due to timing I have now found a similar style which the customer is happy with so have ordered that for him. Martin - Location wise it is to go behind a bar area in a customers outbuilding below a very long mirror....

Martin - I dont think you can say I am not doing it the 'proper' way, I'm sure if you look online / youtube there are many ways of doing it but will definitely read up on doing it this way....

I think it is, not sure what you mean by pegs? The frames are made to size and stapled together, I wasnt keen on the pre-made frames?

At the moment I use a local frame company for my canvas wood, its lovely quality but its quite expensive. Its angled so that you get a good stretch and not see the frame through the print..... I think the Hexis ones are both flat gloss arent they? I'm in the same boat I have a customer wanting me to wrap a mini pickup (one of the old redbull demo ones!) in glittery yellow. I've seen some of the cheapo wrapping vinyls in this colour but none of the better stuff, will keep looking!

As above has anyone had experience with Arlon UPP for wrapping? I have only ever used 3M 1080 or Hexis vinyl in the past but the Arlon range seem to have some lovely colours. Any trickier to use, does it have the air-release system?

As above the 3M 1080 series is veyr easy to wrap with, I try and push my customers to select a 3M colour if I can.

thanks for the message, i've got the swatches at home but still hard to tell as the 2 greys in the pics look different!! I think its matt dark grey but not 100%. I believe that Totally Dynamic wrapped the newer focus so may message them and see if they can advise!

Ah ok see what you mean, would you see the vinyl edge though it the arch goes on after? Wonder if I can salvage the existing quarter by trimming it down, the vinyl piece is right down to the A pillar, right PITA!!!

I've just wrapped an Audi S4 Avant matt black using 3M stuff, I prefer using it to the Hexis vinyl (only used the Hexpress gloss white though). Although the Hexis was ok the 3M is easier I found.

Yup the RS500's will be about 33.5k with a very limited run, about 200 coming to the UK apparantly.
