I thought 4 years ago she was a gold digger, seen nothing to change my mind since.

My wife says it is typical of a man to be led by the heart.

Your wife's opinion of what men are led by is higher than my wife's (by about 18 inches)

We use nameplate holders (available in various sizes - silver or gold) and slide in engraved nameplates, but I'm sure you could use printed inserts.

As above ive been using a W plate Astra Van for the last 6 months. Again as above very nice to drive, ive carpetted the rear so very quiet inside, superb diesel consumption and very nippy (1.7 turbo diesel). Only thing with it is you cant fit an 8' x 4' sheet of acrylics/foamex/corex/drobidor etc i...

For thsoe who prefer Dells, try www.europc.co.uk

They do refurbs at good prices, and still with 3 year on-site warranty.

I've bought a few computers from them over the last few years, and can recommend them.

They also do other brands, and peripherals. Worth a look.

Hi Jill, As a major contributor to this site, I reckon you’ve earned the right to rant on it any time you like. Just thought I’d add to some of the points you made… QUOTE “Constructive criticism is a very helpful tool. Sometimes we've looked at our design so long we can't see the flaws in it. But it...

Hi again, and more thanks for the suggestions. Andrew, I'll have a look at the fonts you suggest before we go ahead.

Took Shane's advice and downloaded a picture from istockphotos to produce the (very) rough draft below of the sort of thing we're aiming for.

All comments welcome.

Thanks Shane, I've checked out istockphoto - looks pretty good, and there may be some stuff we can use. Also thanks to Jill for her constructive criticism, but in mitigation... a) I'm sure I read years ago that Helvetica is the most easily legible font, but I'd be grateful if anyone could suggest al...

We’ve had our Toyota Hiace Powervan for a few months now, and fortunately we’ve been pretty busy since we got it, so we haven’t got round to doing the livery properly. We have got some general cut vinyl on the sides (name, phone number etc,) but we want to do a real job on it including a partial wra...

Hi Keith, We have a Roland Resolve solvent printer, and use Epson Heads (from the Stylus Color 800/1520/3000). We can get these for around £37 each, but I'd be interested if you know someone who can supply them cheaper. It would also be very helpful if you, or anyone else, know where I can buy other...

Did anyone read in the Sunday Times about how much time small employers spend doing work for the government - payroll etc. Also, following on from earlier comments regarding poor attendance, lateness etc. I got a shock when my wife brought back some handouts from a drug a...

Hi Chris,

They're listed as "Approved Convertors", which I took to mean that they would produce the finished article for me - not what I need on this occasion.

Thanks

I'm looking for 8 off Big Slatz Sliders 250mm wide x 80mm deep, complete with 125mm x 25mm inserts, plus ends and wall fixings, but I don't have an account with Spandex, and I don't want to buy loads of the stuff.
