Most outlines are 1:20 scale. In Signgo import your outline then select all, right click and properties and adjust scale by entering 20. Always check your sizes by drawing a box along the scale line with the dimension at the bottom of the outline file and the length should read the same.

I have the same problem on my Signpal Apprentice software at the moment, as I don't use it at the moment I haven't tried much to resolve the problem. I suppose the best way to fix is an uninstall and then a reinstall. I have got a Win 2000/XP driver on my web site which is free to download from GCC....

Became a Limited Company as of today, :o a bit of work setting up but well worth the Tax benifits it gives. As above I have been advised it's the right direction to go by my accountant and should save me between £3,500 and £4,500 a year on tax.

Had a problem on a vehicle I did Saturday. When applying the vinyl to the vehicle by using the hinge method I found that certain letters would not release from the backing paper. Depends on what paint they have used abit, I have fitted a van up the next day after spraying (with 2 pack) and the spray chappie was more than confident I wouldn't damage/pull his paint off....(and that was sprayed on a winters day with no baking oven)

I made sure that i had a good flat surface on top of the drums, I placed a sheet of 5mm perpex on top which had reinforced edges.

Ok I have done the signs, it took me Sat and Sun afternoons about 11 hours in all. I used Amari 5mm board and cover it in Green 1240mm Oracal 751,the lettering was done using Cream Oracal 610mm. Yes I have been caught out with that one allready, I think my problem is something to do with a fill and outline.

Was the item you were trying to cut imported in? I used to get the same thing in Corel. Never did find out what caused it but i think it was something to do with either the line thickness or a different fill colour to line colour. :roll:

I think there is a reason for braille, if you are not totally blind but can see shapes or outlines then finding a sign would be no problem and reading it would be possible too.

Hi all, I have a real odd ball, when I export a file out of Corel Draw 10 as an HPGL file. When I send to my cutter it cuts all out lines twice. Hi Eddie, The method I use is to copy the original text and paste where you want your shadow to lie, I then go to the arrange menu then shapping and click on the trim option.
