Okay everyone listen up!
As you all know Europoint Display is now the main supporting supplier for vinyl within the group. And I thank them for doing so, & for providing a great service to us all. Now as we are establishing our accounts with them and buying is well under way.
I wanted to ask here on the boards your opinion. I will be doing this by e-mail as I normally do but before I do. I would like to open a topic for debate. Here I go!

What product & what companies do you think we should tackle next with the group buying?
I already have lots in mind and I actually have spoken to various suppliers about supplying us with different products. I would basically like some of your own views.
What do we need most days? Who do you recommend we approach? & Why?
Ill leave it at that for now. See if it gets the ball rolling.

well, purely from a 'vinylmans' point of view...I'd love to see discounts for:

1.) Ready made banners
2.) Pre-fabricated fascia signs (acrylic/ally frame)
3.) Pavement signs and 'A' boards
4.) nik-naks' (crayons, knife blades, squeegee sleeves, masking tapes etc.)
5.) Software upgrades
6.) Printer ink!
7.) Hanging brackets
8.) Petrol
9.) Bank Loans
10.) Vans
11.) Holidays
12.) Income Tax
13.) and a Divorce...

...there, I think that about covers it...

as for the actual preferred suppliers by name, well, we'll see what others come up with cus I never used to know much about Europoint - but now I do!

I agree with Mike,

I am happy with my banner suplier but would move for economics.
Timber suppliers, big firms like Jewsons screw us rotten as discounts are on an annual turnover basis, we only buy 20 sheets of ply a year.
Fixings companies like screwfix.
Paint suppliers like Dulux decorator Centres, countrywide and every colour or product imagineable.
Hand tool suppliers for knives, squeegees, straight edges.
The list is endless but as well as Mike's ideas theres my tuppence worth.

yeh jim your right mate.
what i need to do though is really consider what we all buy that is the same. it no use saying to a supplier i have 5 people to buy from you, so how cheap do we get it. i need to say i have 40 or 50 ready to buy from you. and be sure we will all start buying if the price and service is right.
i reckon its gonna be plastics and metals next. i think the bulk of us use them in some form or another.
