Tried a new product today called Texicut, it's like plastisol (I would think?) but it comes on sheets and you cut with the plotter, then heat press onto your substrate.

Does anyone have any experience of this, or use anything similar?

Hey sharon

I tried texi-cut too it was advertsed in printwear and promotion mag.

Its much the same as the xpres stuff, but i think xpress is much better - text-cut is very flimsy and i had lots of problems with it in the cutter and when weeding.

Europa and direct consumables do similar stuff too.

In my opinion the xpres stuff is by far the best.

Joe the stuff victory do is not the same as the xpres stuff

Some info on xpres cuttable transfer materials, which i didn't have to hand last night. They do 7 different types of materia, extra flex, flexi cut, nylo cut, ultra cut, flock, thermo reflex (& nylon version) & easy cut.

Easy Cut - is what i use due to its durability.

Thanks Lorraine,

I'd wondered about the stuff from Xpress sounds a lot more stable in the plotter. I'd backed the sheet of Texicut with some transfer tape to give it a bit more body, but finding the cutting outine was a bit of a pain. I'll give Xpress a ring tomorrow. Have you had any experience with the Target Transfer stuff?

Rholee they don't have a website as yet, but if Lorraine says Xpress product is far superior then that's good enough for me.

I can't help you with that one sharon as I've not uses any of targets stuff - they seem to be more geared to ready made transfers. which is great if you have a high street shop, But i guess it would be difficult to sell if you didn't - they do do the plotter stuff but i haven't tried it - mainly because i am very happy with the stuff from xpres.

Victory's Hotmark

I've tried victory's Hotmark and i've found it really really good! It weeds well and goes on like a dream with good flexibility! It's good because it's sold on a roll 500mm wide and it's about £6 a metre. Just keep forgetting to mirror print it
