enlargement?

hi i have a problem .......does anybody know of any software that will let me enlarge a photo file (on disk) without it losing its quality? cheers steve.

Hi mate

You could do with a program called Adobe Photoshop. It also depends on what size you want it and what for. Also you can only blow an image up so far before it starts to pixelate.

I use photozoom pro at this link. Brilliant stuff. Highly recommend it (hot)

I think they have a trial version too, may be worth trolling the site

or you could try Irfanview - http://www.irfanview.com - which is a free viewer and will allow resizing with resampling (i.e. will add pixels) - although it has its limitations depending on original size of file and how much enlargement required.

Ooooh, I was trying to keep that one to myself, you bugger Shane!
Best software on the planet for wide format use!
Photoshop doesn't even come close!
If you haven't got it and you're poster / wide format, you need it and it's dirt cheap :wink:

:oops: as soon as I pressed submit I thought 'what am i doing letting this secret out :cry: Not that cheap for us in OZ but worth every penny... or is that pence?
