Static Cling vinyl for parking permits

Afternoon everyone.

I have been asked to price up 700 stickers for a golf club. These are for the members vehicles windscreens for the parking permits. Like the old tax disc holders or club stickers.
I am looking at the cling materials but the ones I have seen say that the printed side cannot be placed against glass due to ink migration. I thought you would have reversed printed these and the "cling" side was against the backing paper anyway, or is both sides "cling"? Obviously this would be clear cling, but how does the white cling work if you cant place the printed side against the glass?
Am I looking at this all wrong?

Of course if there is an alternative material I am all ears.

We've always printed onto white. Can't say we've had ink transfer. It may happen, and they may be covering their backsides.

Quoted a job last week, where a customer printed cling on a UV machine and it didn't stick.

These permits will be in windscreens for at least a year getting baked in the sun, and being quite a posh club I am guessing not cheap windscreens if i need to replace them

Reverse print on removable clear, and flood with white.

Not sure if it will work with clear cling.

Removable clear sounds good. Usual suppliers? Any recomendations?

In the past I've used A media, from Amari. But they're probably all much the same.

We do loads of these. Reverse print onto clear self cling, then back with matt white. You can also use white self cling and print to the face, but this only works on solvent printers, and unless they are really well gassed out, ink transfer may occur.

Try ultraview from papergraphics. Optically clear and no adhesive. Think you can buy a 5m sample roll if you need to test it first.
