Will static cling film work on boat exteriors?

Been asked to make some SOLD stickers for a boat dealer. I obviously want something that wont leave residue and ideally can be re used. Would static cling work for this? It would be applied to the exterior of boats after they are sold so i would imagine will need to stay on for a week or two at a time.

Thanks all

I don't think static cling would be a good choice for this Ewan. If it was me I'd use ReTac from DryTac.com, you can apply remove and re-apply without leaving any residue although I'm not sure how the harsh weather would effect it long term.

Yeah, why not? Vinyl would be a better option though but not reusable.
Make sure the surface is very clear and put them on all-flat area rather than curved areas, then let the client know: they have no adhesive so I can't guarantee they will stay on for months. But they are reusable.
And if they peel off, they can be reapplied, I assume the boats being for sale are on the ground and not on the water?

What type of boats ??
Boat's have got windows have they not ?? Sorry for not being sure but I spent 20 years in Submarines & we definitely didn't have windows

Can they not be applied to the boat windows in all seriousness

Or what about PVC banners? They could be hung from the sides, guard rail, or similar.

Even if you just eyelet the top and put weights in the bottom.

we use banner, or correx signs. Most handrails on yachts are 30mm, so you can go to a plumbing shop and buy pipe clips that can affix to the back of your sign, and then just clip onto the handrail. We have also used repositionable vinyl, but in fairness with the salt residue etc, you only get a couple of goes, but it doesn't leave any glue residue on the hull.
cheers
